fricking plumbers won't call me back. I need a shower. So does my dog. Me and the wife are both sick. I'm up to my elbows in shite. The dogs been playing in sewage. Life is good.

As long as the cleanout cap is off it "shoudn't" back up in the house. That's all I would worry about really.

I knew someone whose septic tank ruptured/broke/overflowed once. His entire backyard was full of shite-water and corn.

based on what you have posted here, the line between your house and the street is stopped up...happens to mine about once per year...if you have a tree in the front yard, garantee that the roots have grown into the sewer line...

I just go to home depot and rent a snake...costs about $40 and takes longer to drive there than it does to break the logjam....
