I have zero use for a breakfast joint that opens 8am or later.

I enjoy the potatoes. I always go with the home style biscuits and gravy. That with 2 bloody marys and I'm out the door for under $25 post tip.

I've only ever been for Sunday brunch, so I expect to spend that much money if I'm drinking anyway.

frozen tater tots

I can't respect any restaurant that serves any type of frozen potatoes, whether tots or fries.

I don't consider fast food places as restaurants.

If you can't serve fresh potatoes, you should be ashamed.

Pretty sure there's a no knife law at all Applebee's. Which means no knife is allowed in the kitchen. Therefore, I would guess those taters a prepackaged just like every other meal they put out.

The sad thing is that there are lots of restaurants that go the frozen potato way. Not just chains.

Been to the mandeville location many many times all with great dining experiences.

This.

It's usually packed, but the food is solid. Zero fricks if it's a chain, I'm a fan.

So it should have a line out the door on Magazine

It's smack dab in the middle of the "comfort zone".

Where Cafe' Raini used to be. In that little mini mall with GNC and Salvation Studio.

Good the line shouldn't clog up the sidewalk like Slims & Surreys in that location.

The one in Sandestin is really good but there's always a minimum 35 minute wait, unfortunately.

That was always my thoughts when I used to go to the G O'Neal location....I even thought that most things were kind of bland. Nice atmosphere though, and the prices were high enough to keep the rift raft out.

Didn't this place start in Mandeville? I didn't realize it was a national chain. I was always under the impression it was local to Louisiana. I guess I was wrong, but I still think the original is in Mandeville.

Kennypowers, I think you are right. I didn't enjoy the one in BR when it was in the old French restaurant building. I can't think of the name. I just drove by there and the building is gone.

I have not tried the newer location in the old Harold's on Corporate.
