My Internet and TV went up this year with cox. I remember it was just a few years ago when I was paying $95 and now I'm over $130 for the same exact plan.

I only have internet with them. A few months ago my bill went from $67 to $74. I called and told them I'm going with U-verse. They lowered my bill to $59 for 12 months.

I called them right before it went up (knowing it was coming) and asked if they had a deal for long-term subscribers.
They said all I had to do was ask and they'd extend the current rate for another 2 years.
FWIW, I use all 3 (cable, Internet and phone) and asked how much my bill would go down if I killed the land line. They said the bill would go UP $8/mo to have only internet/cable.

No where near a fan of Cox, but in their defense everyone is going up. People need to start realizing that it's not always in the hands of providers. If the networks charge them more to carry the channels then as a result they have to go up as well.
