Presnap strategy: Manning > Brees?

Seems like the Broncos have something pretty good going pre snap. Heres what I've observed:
"Omaha" is used to tell the offense that the next command is to snap the ball.
Omaha can be a safety valve for a dwindling play clock to snap the ball quickly and abort presnap checks. (Eliminate delay of game/burning timeouts)
Omaha succeeds a traditional "hut-hut" cadence which, when used in combination with Omaha, is to force defenses to show their coverage.
the combination of Omaha and no Omaha cadence prevents defenses from anticipating the snap on the "hut-hut" cadence, as well as anticipating the snap on the Omaha cadence
I'd be curious to see where they rank in false starts, (if this works- should be near bottom of the league) but I to feel confident saying this is probably one of the several reasons its difficult to get a sack against manning.
Just pointing this out because it seems like we have a lot of presnap problems lately, esp on the road in addition to pressure problems.

The problem seems to be the refs and their consistency in making the call.

Peyton runs a no huddle most of the time as well. I wish we did more of that.

And the bunch WR group. I always thought it would help in getting jammed at the line helping WR's get a more free release?

yeah, it is much easier for Manning because he gets to the line of scrimmage with 20 seconds on the play clock. SP needs to get the plays to Brees much faster.

I would prefer to go to a base package sometimes with no huddle. Especially for away games. Is it necessary to run 185 different player packages out there?

Only whenever you want the defense to know what we're doing. The different packages are such tells on what we're doing now it's ridiculous. If I can call the play from my lay-z-boy then a coach that makes millions of dollars a year on the opposing sideline surely knows what's up.

our 2 minute offense (aka no huddle) is terrible. a big part of that is not running it at all until dire times arrive, and at this point there is no flow to it. I don't know their practice routines, but I am sure based on the eye test that they spend very little time on this. It must change

If not true no huddle, at least an uptempo with a some urgency. The problem with either though is SPs insistence of so much substitution. It's rare when 3 players are not substituted for 3 others. It's practically every play. That leaves Brees stepping into the huddle to call the play with less than 20 seconds on the play clock.
I think that when they're running a 2 minute offense and Brees has a bit more say-so (less time for subs) that the offense clicks better.

It really wasn't that great this past year, but it seems like it was a strength in years past. If we got the ball at the end of the half I was usually pretty confident that some points could get put up. I think that I would attribute that more to the lack of a deep, which I think was one of the biggest problems with the offense this year.

I am with you that it has been a strength of ours the last 4 years but this year was the lack of deep threat and the fact that Drew has lost some arm strength.

Except for one thing:
Brees has been called for "false start" with some of his pre-snap movements, but I've never seen Manning called for it, nor any other QB for that matter.
At least, this year.
Also, the refs were quick to call false start on Brees, but somehow did not see his clear 'time out sign' in the New England game.

Manning may be the best ever at pre snap strategy. So yeah I'd say he's better than Drew.
