Can you believe this is first "news" story on the local Fox station tonight? Sounds like there was a party going on, they came and arrested some dude, the patrons didn't like it (this is where Brown showed his arse by shouting at the cops). Was told to back away, he kept cursing, they attempted to grab him, he tried to run away and they pepper sprayed him. Took him jail. Sounds like a very young kid (who should probably still be in high school), getting drunk at a party on one of his first weekends in college. Kids that young can make some very bad decisions, especially if they have little experience with booze, or even pot. I feel for him, I really do. If I were his parents, I'd be pissed off that no one was watching out for him. Someone on the team should be watching out for these younger guys as well. These guys are way too immature at that age - bound to get in trouble.

I agree, but if I were his dad I would be thinking (not saying out loud), "I hope he was drunk, and not this stupid". I don't believe that the cop arrested him just because the cop was an a-hole. I don't think that cop in Tuscaloosa will stay employed long if they arrest football players for on reason. They know it is going to make the news, and everyone in the world will be looking in to it.

TB seems like a good kid. Even good kids do stupid things. I feel bad for his folks. Their kid getting arrested is bad enough but for it to be all over the news is really bad. I wish TB and his parents well. Maybe as punishment Nick will make him cut that damn hair.
