Trucks been sitting at my mother's for 9 months. Put in a new battery so it's cranking and added fuel incase the gauge was wrong. All fuses in place, didn't check for any burnouts. Shouldn't be the clutch safety switch cause it wouldn't even crank if that's the case. Is it Fuel Pump? Any suggestions and what's the estimated cost I'm looking at here? Can I fix it myself?

ethanol added fuel gets gummed up when it sits for a long while.

A little sprits of that in the air intake should get it to bust off.

Just tried Starting Fluid, engine dies out right after. So it's not the engine but a component outside of that.

Are you getting fuel to the injectors?

My dad's 2001 sat for about a year after he died. It did the same exact thing. I had to drop the tank and put a fuel pump in it. Fired right up afterwards.

So we ended up put the battery charger on the battery which was sitting at 70 percent. Charged it to 90 percent and she runs. Can some one explain this to me? I'm dumb on this one.

You have to pour the gas ON it for it to ignite good.
