Hydrocodone 10mg/500 is no longer being dispensed by Pharmacists

Even if you have a prescription with 2 refills, pharmacists are not allowed to fill the script.

Had to edit after a few people corrected me on it. Apparently the hydrocodone 10mg/500 are no longer supposed to be dispensed. The FDA apparently only allows a lower dose of acetominophin like NORCO.

I heard they are still filling Norco, just not Lorcet or Lortab because of the Acetaminophen content

My mom had a total knee replacement in December, and she is actually having the same problem. Was told in late December that all pharmacies were out of it. She wasn't supposed to take Percs because she has liver problems but is having to take them because there is nothing else available that she can take.

They can only fill once a month. Even if she has refills. Walmart's policy. Always been that way with controlled substances.
