46 or 50" TV? Leaning toward the 46.

Same number of pixels, the 46 should be sharper and better, right?
Between these two:
Samsung 46" 5500
Samsung 50" 5500
I have to wait till they get the 50" 5500 back in stock to see what they're pricing them at. What say ye? 46" right?
ETA: I'm not really keen on paying for 240Hz or 3D ATM.

I don't know much about the technical stuff on TV's, but I don't think the pixels differ with the size of the screen....Therefore not causing the picture to be better or worse by size.
I go with the 50'
I go with the 50'

once you go big you will never wanna go back.
I have a 55 in my Living Room...60 may the biggest I'll go in there, but definitely worth it
46 in my bed room and Play Room.

It really depends on the size of your room and the viewing distance.

Go bigger.

FWIW, unless you are sitting closer than a couple of feet to the TV, you won't notice any change in resolution from the larger TV.
If even then.

50, 46 is small. I know this because I have a 46 in the bedroom and a 55 in the den and a 60 in the living room. The 46 used to be in the living room. If the room you are putting it in is even remotely big, 46 is too small.

Always go bigger.
I went from a 51" to a 60" and haven't regretted it one bit.
