quote:so, you don't think we should reach out to a guy who recruited the eff out of Louisiana when we were way down, and who had a ton of great OL that went on to long successful NFL careers? Oh, the guy also has a history with your school, and stood in your head coaches wedding alongside your current OC.
I love all of the idea men on this site
It isn't like I'm suggesting we go hire Stephen Peterman when he retires. The guy I'm suggesting is a proven college recruiter in our home state. He locked down the state prior to Saban or Miles getting here. And, he's a proven OL coach with a good track record?
BTW, I know that we've reached out to a longtime NFL Offensive Line coach who's head coach has been fired. If he doesn't land an NFL job, we could see a guy with a ton of NFL OL experience, plus some college OL experience, being considered as LSU's next OL coach.

Gerry still believes he should be the HC here and is a tad bitter. Dude isn't coming back as a position coach

I just did some research, and the only guy I could come up with that came close to matching this description is Foerster from the Skins. Don't really know anything about him but I'd trust Cam and Les to make a good hire.

It's a much better idea than going after former LSU players who've
1. Never coached a day in their life.
2. Never recruited a day in their life.

One Down (Stud), one to go (Ensminger). Any word on the Ensminger front? Credible of course?
