Ensminger recruited Jamal Adams

No he did not.

He may have mailed a letter but it was Les and Raymond that reeled in Adams.

Ensminger doesn't do anything but cash his very easy way too high paycheck.

Stud's Offensive Line played great in the Outback Bowl allowing for all the Rushing Yardage and will be good again next year.

Are you on dope? Did you miss the part where Jennings was getting crushed? Have you watched any games at all this year and paid specific attention to the OL?

No ensminger recruits northeast texas & had a relationship with Adams high school coach & made a connection with Adams dad as they both played in the sec in the 70's. Raymond was involved but you people who bash ensminger because of your uninformed opinion of him are ridiculous

That's been the problem with this OL all year. They've been great in run blocking, but terrible in pass protection. Considering that Iowa was very good against the run and that we couldn't pass in the bowl, I'd say they did outstanding in that dept. But, the pass blocking...ugh...

Rivals & 24/7 list Raymond as his recruiter.
Are they uninformed also.

I said Raymond was involved also.....
Most kids aren't recruited by 1 guy, it's the position coach & area recruiter or coordinator or stud recruiter
Frank Wilson is in on almost every big time offensive recruit regardless of where they are from or position, same for brick Haley on defensive recruits.

He's saying that out of respect. He knows Stud isn't any good. If any of you ever personally knew olineman on LSU's team...you would know some don't speak very highly of Stud's technique coaching. He's a likable persona...just not a very good coach. I think results speak for themselves. He has been here what, 6 years? How many highly touted lineman has he brought through here and actually sent to the NFL? Very few. It seems as players stay in his system they take a step back and very rarely progress forward.

Don't argue he had shite luck with injuries either. As bizarre as it might sound, injuries can at least be minimized with good technique. Yes, that's right...sloppy technique for an olineman can give him a much greater risk at injury.

I don't mind Ensminger staying in an admin role. I can't stand Stud and he needs to go. I've never seen a coach demoted twice on a staff and say at a school. He was demoted as both a recruiter and coach on LSU's staff. No defense for this guy.

BTW, who was the a-hole sitting on the sideline during the Arkansas game? Anyone know? I wanted to slap that fat bastard for sitting on the phone so much. Had to be in relation to Stud...

DING DING DING

I've wanted to say this all year, but didn't want to be accused of bashing someone. I also know several high school coaches around the state who believe the same. Time for Stud to go elsewhere.

Mawae stated that the technique of the LSU o-line was the worse he has seen in years. The players were not being coached up, were not being taught the correct technique or how to properly call blocking adjustments. Also was asked if he tought Stud was the problem and the answer was he's the line coach and the line is being coached correctly.

Wow That is strong stuff. When/where did he say it?

Wait, so you're saying it's a bad thing when Eliot Porter ends up 8 yards in the backfield?

Does Wilkerson even have a job currently? Safe to say I'm pretty sure he'd be interested

Whether or not Mawae actually wants to full time coach is another story. I'm thinking Cam gets to make this hire though
