It really is great. Go see it! Funnest and funniest movie of the year. All-star cast performs at all-star level. David O. Russell is quickly becoming one of my favorite directors.

Just got out of it. Great performances all around, and I think that Russell will yet again get actors nominated in all 4 categories, a hell of an achievement if he pulls it off and has definitely become a director every actor will want to work with.

The plot is unpredictable too. Whenever I thought I knew the direction that the plot was headed, there's a new turn that I didn't expect. I'm going to keep this spoiler free, but go see it.

4 stars out of 4

it was good, but not great

there were scenes, as they stand on their own, that were fantastic, and there were many of them.....but as an entire body of work, it was disjointed, and the story didnt flow very well

the performances were amazing, and it was shot really well....on top of which were some hilarious moments (esp the scene where Lawrence wanted to be thanked for driving him to be inspired to hatch a plan ), but something was lost on the editing room floor...it started and stopped too many times

this was not a case of "the whole is greater than the sum of its parts"....but just the oppisite

J-law was great, Bale was Great, Cooper was Great (loved him in the uncontrollable laughter scene), but I thought Renner was unbelievable. I have never felt more sympathetic to a character in a movie. I had this hyped up big time in my mind and I think it lived up to it.

I really enjoyed it but didn't think it was great. All the actors were fantastic though.

When Bradley cooper impersonates Louis ck on the couch I fricking lost it. There are quite a few funny moments.

Just saw it. Bale and Renner were awesome. I did want to add that it was funny that I watched American Psycho recently. The physical differences in Bale between the two movies are incredible.

It was really good, but I was not blown away. I thought it started losing steam towards the middle, but it picked up when De Niro came in.

I am just not a fan of Amy Adams.

Bump.

Loved the movie. Solid acting by all. That Bradley Cooper mocking his FBI counterpart scene was gold. Overall 9 out of 10 for me.

This movie was very "meh" to me but I have only watched the first half, gonna finish the rest tonight so I hope it gets better.

Didn't read all of the posts, but enough of the first coupla pages to see I might be alone in thinking the movie was long, tedious and not very good at all. Would not recommend. Individual characters and acting performances were good, I suppose, but that is what it felt like (each one acting on their own) and it never came together for me. To each his own, I suppose.

(Btw, I didn't like Silver Linings either, so my fault for thinking this might be good.)

I had to go take a dump and missed about 10 minutes. What was the significance of the fake lawyer scene and subsequently belittling Bradley Cooper's involvement in the whole thing?

Just got back from it, I thought the fist 40 minutes or so was increbly boring, but once Carmine comes into the picture it got much better.

Loved Jennifer Lawrence, and disapointingly, I didn't like Cooper that much.

I liked the film a lot.
