Hey dumbass...It's Monday and Saban hasn't made the announcement that he's going to Texas. What's going on???? I assume he's just running a little late?

He's still trying to put together a staff, that's the real reason Kiffin is in Bama.

I can't believe Lane Kiffin would actually move his family to Tuscaloosa.

Well, they're living in a car since the pitchfork-wielding mob ran them out of L.A.

He's USC's Mike Shula.

Bama could be averaging 10 yards per carry and completing less than 50% of their passes and Nussmeier will still refuse to run the ball more than 2x in a row.

Well, this is not always true. It was definitely true in the Aggie game in 2012, but I thought we ran Yeldon into seven and eight man fronts too often against Auburn this year. We were succeeding with the pass (other than dropped passes) more often than not.

Daddy called in a favor. Lane gotta get some credibility back and Saban is the only one that could do it.

The only thing better would be if Saban went to UT and Kiffin took over the Bama job.

Lane Kiffin will be announced as Offensive Coordinator after A Day.

I wouldn't mind if he took over playcalling duties. Nussmeier's playcalling drives me nuts. Bama could be averaging 10 yards per carry and completing less than 50% of their passes and Nussmeier will still refuse to run the ball more than 2x in a row.

Bama's play calling is iffy at times, no doubt
Wish Bama had a real commitment to the running the rock, but having a 3rd year starter at QB changes things somewhat. Maybe next season Bama will get back to Bama football with an inexperienced QB behind center.

Plus, I know we got playmakers everywhere at the skill positions, and we feel obligated to get them the ball some, but a dominate running game with good solid defense. Is almost unstoppable if done correctly any given season when totally committed. If bringing Kiffin in gets this, I suppose I can live with it. Grrrrrrr.......Kiffin really?????

not sure why people are laughing at this

Lane was a ridiculously good OC at USC before he went to the Raiders. Also was recruiting coordinator for their 3 straight #1 classes

Saban as HC with Kiffin as OC would be quite scary if the two could work together

the only thing kiffin was good at was recruiting. norm chow developed that usc offense back in the heyday. usc's offense improved drastically after kiffin was fired as HC

It's the Sexton Connection. CNS is getting Lane some media attention to keep his name out there.

LK needs a job and guess who his agent is?

Bama fans said that when CLK left TN that he would be USC's Shula.

This board would've been insane had Kiffin visited Tuscaloosa when Saban was supposedly on his way to Texas

Well, it's obvious that Saban is grooming Kiffin to be the next Alabama head coach.

that's why he averages 10 yds per carry because he keeps you guessing its good to not always run 2 times in a row

I don't understand the thinking here? If Stoops saw a glaring flaw in Saban's Offence, why would he tell him?

Stoops went to Bama, Bama didn't go to Stoops.

Stoops is a defensive coach by trade, he went to Saban to learn about the 34 defense.
