What's so funny? NOLA is a destination city, unlike Tampa and is only behind Las Vegas as the premier convention site in North America.

25,000 hotel rooms within walking distance of the Superdome, for starters. But Midwesterners are obsessed with Central Florida for some reason.

For a bowl game, it is... There is a reason New Orleans has hosted more Super Bowls than anybody except Miami, and that is a tie at 10.

Looks like people already took up the chorus, but New Orleans/Superdome is the best host for these type of events in the whole country.

There was a 30+ minute power outage at the Super Bowl last year, and there were still articles from across the country saying just quit rotating the Super Bowl and have it in New Orleans ever year.

The list of things New Orleans and LA does better than anyone else may be short, but that's on it.
