Do we have any consensus from any other folks with alot of skin in the game? Do we have a change supply could slow down since everyone is starting to slow production? These prices have to be forcing production to drop, which would give us a little price support, right? Or am I just a hopeless optimist?

Thursday's NG report may be your last glimmer of hope for a while. I don't think it'll be an beneficial as once thought either; cold weather was short lived.
ETA: not an expert & don't have much skin in the game.

I have to disagree. From what I saw last week this number should be near a record draw.

I have skin in the game, and I'm going to lose my arse on the winter bull trade.
I managed to dump 13 of the Jan 21 UNG calls. The rest, and I own a lot, will likely expire worthless Friday.
On the whole, natty gas has been profitable, but not this particular cycle.
Others that post frequently in the MT never seem to never lose money, maybe we should all take advice from them? Me? I lose sometimes.
Frankly 2014 has been my worst trading year in a long, long time.
I should add I don't like losing money, but I'm prepared to lose, and when I do, it's not the end of the world for me.

I definitely respect your input. That said, do you see any prospects for a ride up in UGAZ over the next few months or is this Friday potentially it?

Well. Looks like in gonna sell for a big hit :(

If you own UGAZ shares, why not just keep it and wait for it to recover?
I bought UNG. I'm just going to hold it. Everything else was future's contracts and options, and options on UNG. I can't hold these as they expire.
It is what it is. UNG will recover. So will UGAZ. When? Likely not anytime real soon.

I think we see a quick spike when the number is announced on Thursday. Planning on buying puts 2 weeks to expiration during the spike and "hope" I can makeup some losses I took on UGAZ.
MT Thoughts?

Buy cheap puts during tomorrow's uptick seems reasonable to me. But then again if we get -215, which I suspect is possible, it might not be as large of an uptick because of the yty comparison.
5 yr avg is for this week's report is -190, and last year was -268.

Please keep this pace UGAZ. Up 13% in the pre.

A big withdraw could be a good opportunity to lighten my losses with not so big losses.

I'm still nervous- are we back in bull territory or is this and tomorrow the last gasp? haha. I'm so clueless.

the way the reports have been received, I doubt its a good day tomorrow for us.. but I'm a pessimist on NG right now.. I hope I am DEAD wrong. if we have a green day tomorrow in WTI and S&P, I think we'll see the bull go on. Just my 1 cent.. cause its not worth 2 cents..
