How do you not use a timeout to call a better play!!!

wasn't a terrible play IMO

but I do think we could have used a timeout for a higher percentage shot for someone like AD in the paint if we could

we basically had a full shot clock

C'mon. It went in and out.

Maybe for not using a TO or getting an earlier shot, but even if they did that it'd be hard to get much more open then that.

A good shooter had a wide open look. Doesn't seem terrible.

There were two options for that possession:

1) Call a timeout and draw something up

2) Try to score as quickly as possible, because you are losing in the 4th quarter and every second is precious at that point.

We opted for hidden mystery choice #3 and killed enough clock to where we only had one real chance to get a shot up.

epitome of lack of Bball IQ. They knew what play they were going to run in the last possession. It was a great look, it just didn't go in.

Before you hem and haw about what terrible coach he is, how knowing you are talking about?

everyone knows I hate monty. But that play was wide the frick open. We don't get open shot like that out of time out majority of time.

After we let more than 10 seconds run off the clock with the team losing...

If we were tied, that play would have been fine.

You want to call a time-out so they can sub in their defensive players?

It was the right call. I'm sure it was a pick and roll, AD was covered off the roll so Jrue dished it out to Gordon..it wasn't a bad play at all. Just didn't fall.

The would've run the pick & roll out of the timeout anyway. Don't see the problem with EG shooting a wide open 3. It's not like they got a shot for Aminu or something.

This is dumb. Anyone that agrees with this is just dumb.

They got a wide open corner 3. It goes in, you're flapping until sunrise. It missed and the strategy is dumb? GTFO

1 point game. Why was a corner chuck necessary?

The play worked fine. Waiting to run the motion once the clock got down to 10 seconds, however...

not so smart when you're trailing by one.

Because it was the 3rd option on the play?

3 point shots aren't exactly high percentage shots... that corner3is probably 50/50. I'd preferred to have given AD the experience of having the ball there

Totally agree. What pisses me off is having AD take 9 shots while Smith gets 15, all while getting abused on the defensive side. Not having a legit C is killer.
