It's actually fairly common after a major injury to one knee, the injuring of the other knee
quote:He plants with his right leg while he's trying to reach for the ball and his leg bends inward. That's when the sprain/tear occurs.
I just can't see how that's a bad injury after seeing the play. His knee bends in the direction it's supposed to bend

Guess he'll just have to make do with the money, fame, spotlight, lifestyle, flash, and all the things that come with it.
quote:we should all be so lucky. He had uber exceptional knees. Now he has broken down, normal knees. What I would give to test drive his freaky athleticism. Now he's going to have to make do with being average athletically.
Cursed with bad knees

He shouldn't have rushed back.

After his first injury I assumed he wouldn't ever be considered elite again. His whole game is based on driving into the lane and getting beat up and throwing up lay ups. He is way to fragile for that now. He is either going to learn how to be an efficient jump shooter or he will fade away

Man, just as a guy who loves basketball and sports, this breaks my heart.
I'm hoping for the best for his sake.

Won't happen cause he SHOULDN'T have won that MVP anyway.
And thats your opinion. Because he did in fact win the MVP, and he was the youngest MVP ever.

Any average nba fan who isn't a bulls fan could see he didn't deserve the MVP

So O/U 20 games missed?
Posted on 11/23/13 at 12:07 pm to TigerMan327
Again, its not about if he did or didnt deserve it. He did win the MVP that year. And that made him the youngest MVP ever.
Thats all Im saying. Agree or disagree about it all you want. But he did win it. Cant change that.

Well obviously lol. No one is saying he didn't win the MVP

Maybe if he goes to Germany to get the Kobe treatment he could make it back in 3 or so years. I mean what's the point in rushing back, Miami and Indiana are too tough in the East, not like they're going to the Finals. There's no reason for him to play for the 3rd seed, IMO. Let him get really healthy.

Can't wait to hear his brother blame the front office for this.
