Yeah, there's not really much "soul" in the Superdome. It's actually not a whole lot different from the Georgia dome.

i'll never understand residents of a city telling another city with plenty of resources how to spend their money...

should make for an awesome SECCG venue when it's all said and done. The GA Dome is adequate, but nothing special.

I thought the issue with most stadiums hosting soccer matches was the width of the field. The butthole doesn't look like it's got very much room unless they can pull back some seats

The width at the 50 yard line looks to be adequate; however, it does look like it will be a tight fit at the corners. They are wanting an MLS team, so it's something they will have to take into consideration.

It's hilarious to see that people actually think that hole will remain open. It's a RETRACTABLE roof.

Do we have to define retracted for you guys as well?

When the Falcons are down by a score late in the 4th qtr, does the hole in the roof close up a bit?

Do they really want a giant window showing downtown ATL?

Except for the quality of design, history, noise, etc

nobody likes the Superdome except for Saints fans. It's not exactly the Rose Bowl or Fenway like they for some reason make it out to be.

Yea, that couldn't be further from the truth

This new Atlanta stadium is just like Jerry World. It's all corporate, and absolutely no soul to it. I won't think of football when I go to it.

Have you been to Jerry world? Serious question. I thought it was all hype but was blown away when I actually saw it in person last year.

Literally no one outside of New Orleans gives a shite about the super dome.

Being on the inside of each stadium is pretty similar, outside of the roof. I don't know anything about the history of either stadium, but you don't walk into either place thinking "this is special". Noise is a wash, but I've only been to neutral site games at each stadium.

Investing money into something isn't stupid. This is Arthur Blank's idea for bringing in tons of money in the future for the city of Atlanta; which is loaded to begin with.

Studies have shown that using public money to finance stadiums is a bad investment.

Might want to considering giving a little more room in the corners for soccer.

This is part of the plan.
