Shirley, you meant a half gallon (1.75 liters)

He told me a full gallon (3.25 liters). A normal handle of Jameson is $40

This is what makes Costco great. They have this rule for every location too, even Hawaii where they have to ship it over there. Thus, I would think NOLA Costco has good prices on alcohol, etc.

I've been members of both. Costco's quality and variety exceeds Sam's. They also offer a full refund if you're unsatisfied with your membership.

I concur with the majority. Costco has far better quality and less markup than Sam's. I also would say that the Costco house brand (Kirkland) is very good across the board and I buy it consistently, as it is usually as good or better than the name brands...

My roommate is obsessed with Costco. He has such a poor social life that he goes there for fun. And I fuxking hate it b/c he's 31, single, has absolutely no game w women, yet shops like he has a family of 6 which leaves no room for any of my groceries in the fridge. I've tried to explain to him that buying fruits and veggies in bulk will only go bad but doesn't understand b/c "it's such a good deal". Not sure if he's gay or has asbergers. I've ranted enough. Rouse's 4life

Thank you so much for the laugh!!!!

Their gas was under $3.00 per gallon last weekend. Only been there once after the Mrs. raved about it. Nice selection of frozen foods. Didn't price the liquor yet. Their fresh food section was pretty amazing. Looking forward to returning. Unlike at Sam's ,they will take your basket, unload it at checkout and quickly get you out of there.

Ignore the fact that it is in shady part of town because parking lot is fenced in fairly well. Orleans Parish needs the tax money.

I've been to one in Birmingham, it passes for nightlife there, and liked it much better than Sam's. Cleaner, better organized, as if Sam's is a Burger King, Costco is Chick Fil-A.

Of course I drive out of my way to go to the Sam's in Denham, the customers and staff there are "cleaner". If it is possible to be snobbish while shopping at a discount chain, I'll give it a shot.

Louisiana regulates by law how cheap you can sell liquor...that's why you see the signs lowest price allowed by law at WD
