Grand Theft Auto V is a 2013 open world action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. It was released on 17 September 2013 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. It is the fifteenth title in the Grand Theft Auto series, and the first main entry since Grand Theft Auto IV in 2008. As one of the last titles to be released exclusively for the seventh generation of video game consoles, Grand Theft Auto V was highly anticipated preceding its release.
Grand Theft Auto V is played from a third-person perspective in an open world environment, allowing the player to interact with the game world at their leisure. The game is set within the fictional state of San Andreas (based on Southern California) and affords the player the ability to freely roam the world's countryside and the fictional city of Los Santos (based on Los Angeles). The single-player story is told through three player-controlled protagonists whom the player switches between, and it follows their efforts to plan and execute six large heists to accrue wealth for themselves. An online multiplayer mode is included with the game, allowing up to 16 players to engage in both co-operative and competitive gameplay in a recreation of the single-player setting.
Grand Theft Auto V broke industry sales records by earning US $800 million in the first 24 hours of its release, and $1 billion within its first three days.

Mother of god I kind of blacked out and realized I have spent the last 6 hours playing....a couple of things I did were get franklins new house in winewood hills and try to ignore tracy's phone calls to michael as long as possible. the characters on this game are legitimately funny. trevor is my favorite so far. When trevor and wade move into wade's cousins house (which is actually owned by his fiance Diane) it is funny as hell with them trashing the place...i tried to get a picture of it but i havent signed up for social club, but on the chalkboard in the kitchen theres a drawing of a dick and it says "Diane is a b*tch." gave me a good laugh....awesome game

Last night was the first time online fully worked for me and holy shite was it fun. Had some epic 15 person races around the express roads. So many people were missing exits and whatnot because people kept purposely spinning eachother out.

I have played GTA 5 for about 40 minutes now and am bored out of my mind. Being forced to drive around forever to complete the first mission was terrible. I have not played a GTA game since the first one. I did not remember having to drive this much, plus I was much younger then. I drive my own personal vehicle all the time in real life. Driving a vehicle around a city in a video game is not even remotely fun. Is this really something people enjoy? Does the game improve markedly or should I go ahead an quit playing?
