those weren't close calls

The one against Landry was egregious and it happened right in front of the back judge.

ETA: OP, good sunshine pump.

Dick Macho is such a great screen name to be spent on this. I sort of expect a wrestler or someone who speaks only in 80s wrestling hype tones.

Yeah, executing in all phases of the game and playing error free football is overrated. Everyone celebrate inconsistency!

That's not what he said nor what I agreed with. Sure, it would have been great to play error free football and blow them out. But we didn't and were tested. Overcoming that adversity (and errors) to make the big plays to put them away can't be viewed as a negative (though the errors are). I think it's a good thing for especially the young players to develop that kind of poise and a testament to the staff.

When the coaching staff corrects the errors, that consistency & killer instinct will come, IMO.

Thanks for the wall of text. It is really refreshing to read something like this, over the usual drivel and potty-worded put-downs that are commonplace around here. Not everybody may agree with everything you write, but keep writing. Because it's clear you put some thought behind it. And that's not something we always get from some ranters. Me included.

For all the haters, I warned you right off the bat so if you just don't want to read anything longer than a twitter tweet then move your illiterate arses over to the next topic.

Yeah whiners, I got my rant on and got it out of the way. The weakest thing that you could have possibly done is to come back and try to rag me because you don't want to read more than 140 characters at one time. Whiney arses

For the guys that actually had something to say about the OP,

just curious, did you talk about LB play, OBJ's drops, or Loston? Also the first two non interfence plays early in the game played a big role in the game staying close

Stopped reading rt here. it's not like they dont have talent. Even if they didnt, they lost my respect by constantly trash talking. One of the dlinemen, might have even been hunter, took a swing at one of our olinemen. the refs were letting them get away with a lot and our players kept their poise.
