Just listened to the full audio...not sure what this proves.
He in fact said the things that he was quoted as saying.i do agree that there was no malice on his part and the national media "spun it", but it doesn't change the fact that he said it.

Seems like people are making a needless effort to clean up something that doesn't need to be cleaned up. Patterson is entitled to an opinion on the Hill matter or any other topic that interest him.

You know, I remember we played TCU' several times in late 50’s and 60’s. If I recall one of the games had a really score.
