Same, big fan of Iglesias and what he has done this season. It was probably the right move though for the pitching depth.

Ozzie Smith 2.0. That's why the Globe was saying the price was steep in trading him IMO.

Iglesias is a terrible hitter though. He can be a top 5 defender at short, but he won't be Ozzie 2.0.

Not to mention there are better players behind Iglesias

It's worth it for the depth, just wish since we gave up Iglesias it would be for a pitcher with not as many health questions

Yeah, definitely a difficult call to make, I can see the pros of getting peavy, but I love his defense.

I think this means the FO believes bogaerts can contribute, unless they want to keep him at third. I'd rather bogaerts over holy.

I don't see young waiving his clause for us

I wonder how long Sports Drive will cover this on WNSP tomorrow.

fricking hacks.

probably won't be the opening segment even tough Peavy is a hometown athlete.

my guess it will be about Johnny Manziel's latest bowel movement?

god, bring back Neal McCready.

Hopefully he stays healthy the rest of the way and maybe we can get Buchholz back at some point. Solid rotation with a potent lineup could pay off big time in October.

Opens the door for moving Workman the pen. Wish we would give him a shot at closer. He's got nasty stuff
