8350

8320

$40 difference. is it worth it for the higher end or go with the lower. or should i just go intel and spend more for less.

Depending on the game your looking at 0-10 frame difference. You can overclock it to 8350 speed and probably make up the difference.

If the cash you save gets you a better gpu then get the 8320, if not then get the 8350. That's what I would do.

we're talking processors. i want to go with the 8320 so i can put that 60 bucks to the graphics card. i assume you're talking about the graphics card.

He actually does. He would have played some BF3 if his machine would have played it well.

Devious............you know what to do.

I went with the i5 ivy bridge when I built my computer last fall. Hits the same benchmarks as an i7 for gaming. The processor isn't where you run into performance issues on most systems. Save the cash and put it to a better graphics card.

Yes, the goal of the processor in a gaming CPU is one thing only: To not bottleneck your GPU.
