I just want to make sure I'm already lining up all of the right excuses for failure this season:

(1) Loss of underclassmen;
(2) Unfair schedule;
(3) Potential loss of Hill.

Any other preseason excuses I need to familiaize myself with?

(Got damn)

No the schedule making is headed up in the SEC offices by a guy who graduated Alabama, is from Tuscaloosa and played football at highschool in Tuscaloosa.

When is the last time Beamer beat anyone he was not supposed too? When is the last time he had a big win outside of his own conference? He is the most overrated coach in the country because a few years ago he had a QB named Vick and they blocked a couple of punts.

One point CLM made re the scheduling issue is that if a mismatch occurs on occasion, he has no problem with that. What he said upsets him the most is that when it is the same "repetitive mistake" that happens yr in & yr out. Which is a subtle way of saying it is no accident or mistake. As for Saban not making bama's SEC schedule, that may well be true, but with him being the ultimate control freak over anything & everything to do with his program, you can make book he has one hell of a lot to say bout it. And when Saban talks in bama land, shite happens, i.e. notice how now the 9 game schedule is being accepted as a done deal in 2016, whereas when he first brought it up, he was the only coach out of the 14 who was in favor of it.

Why do people believe Saban is a demi god. (Note lower case)

I know a great way to solve this. We can leave the SEC and go independent. We can play all our home games at night and make our own schedule. I figure we have about 1,000,000 LSU fans. Let's all donate $1000. Then, LSU would have a billion dollars to play with. We wouldn't need the SEC money. Ta-Daaaaa!

Some of you still have not learned that is the SOUTHEASTERN CONFERENCE, not the Southern or Southwestern. The power in this conference lies within the confines of Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia and Auburn. No one else matters to the powers that be in B'ham.

Anyone thinking that losing Hill or playing a far more difficult SECE schedule than some other SECW schools face to reach the SECCG aren't legit concerns, have their head stuck in the sand.

Pretty much the same as not noting how the ridiculous amount of OL injuries impacted our O, team record, and Metts progress last season.

Errrrr, Virginia Tech was favored by a TD in the 2002 game. I'm not certain you can say that VT "was not supposed to" beat LSU in Blacksburg that Sunday. Not to mention those fricking cheaters scheduled a practice game beforehand.

Yes, Slive and his minions are 'Bama supporters in thin disguises. But it will all be academic by the middle of October. When LSU beats TCU, the media will be all about how the Big 12 just isn't that good. When we beat Georgia, it will be all about how Georgia always chokes. But by the time we beat Florida and are 7-0, along with 'Bama, then LSU will be getting love (since there won't be anything else to hype except the 'Bama game). So ignore the media now, and try to ignore them after 10/15 as well. Just enjoy.

Bama gets KY and TN
LSU gets GA and FL

if ONE of these games is switched it becomes a fair schedule..NOT THAT HARD TO FIGURE

I believe the person that sets the schedule for the SEC is a Bama grad.
....I think I read that somewhere....but I am sure that has no bearing

The man in charge of scheduling at the SEC office is Mark Womack.

He's a '78 grad of Bama and his kid goes to Tuscaloosa High.

This is all factual (last I checked), but more importantly its a chance to stir the pot.

If Miles would have not crapped the bed against Bama last season in TS , asswipe Saban would not have won another NC.

Miles needs to outwork Saban. That is all there is to it.

Miles' ego helped lose that game.

What a whiney bitch.

There's only one game on Alabama's schedule that should be of any concern to Les Miles.
