I'll be buying a new truck in the next couple months. I'm currently driving a Nissan Titan, and though it's been a great truck for me, I'm not considering buying another. I really like the Ford FX4. But the Dodge Ram was Truck of the Year for 2013. The GMC Sierra's are nice, but kind of a stale body style. I also kind like the Tundra's. Decisions decisions.....

Not going over 50K.

Pulling a boat the weighs about 4000# loaded and fueled up.

I'd appreciate you guys opinions.

My Silverado was the first GM product I ever drove. Was not really excited about buying it, but I got a deal I could not refuse. Other than idiotic OnStar, it's been an amazing vehicle.

Tundra if you're getting a 2013. If you are getting a 2014 then an FX4. The 2014 Tundras are hideous unless its the platinum edition.

I like more chrome so I got the XLT 4X4 with the chrome instead of the FX4. Love it so far.

If I were going to buy a new truck it would be between the Ford and the Tundra. I don't have first hand experience with the Ford, but have ridden with several friend's in theirs and they seem nice. My last truck (up until six months ago) was a Tundra and it was a beast, most powerful truck I've driven. I now have a Chevy and it's not half the truck the Tundra was. There is a lag when you step on it that the Tundra didn't have - it would pin you to the seat. With the Tundra I could pull my bass boat and not even know it was behind the truck, feels like much more of a load on the Chevy. Toyota's interior is pretty plain compared to the others, even with the Limited package. The Ford's seem to have the nicest, most up to date interior, IMO.

With the prices of trucks these days the gap between 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton isn't that big. I would go F-250

Have you looked at the restyled GMC/Silverado? I really like the changes they have made.
