Or it could be that these terms are harsher than typical given who he is.

I don't know, and I suspect you and most others posting this time of night don't know either.

52 pages and counting--someone needs to put this thread out of its misery.

To be fair, most people that are charged with repeat misdemeanor offences are suspended from their jobs for over 3 months.

/end sarcasm. Just in case it wasn't picked up on.

Woah. He's a 2 time not charged, but convicted. My employer would give a shite a lot about that. 3 months? Try fired.

Maybe we don't all work at Taco Bell.

This I agree with.

Don't think you lived a lot of life.

Not sure what this means. It's 11:47pm on Saturday night. My kids are getting ready for bed, my older son playing black ops, 3 cars in the driveway, etc.

This wasn't always my life. I'm sure you can connect the dots from there.

Actually I have. Fortunately it has been at a comfortable distance from the criminal justice system.

I work in a major industrial facility. Neither of these would even make the HR dept unless it caused him to miss work. In fact the fact that JH33 is a protected class would make it more Teflon because the EEOC would want to know why this person (if he is person in good standing with job/company) is being persecuted for non work related issues. This is a slippery slope but in essence employers cannot punish employees for non work related issues unless it affects their business.

Perhaps Les Miles could insist that the players do not commit crimes.

Right now, the LSU AD. He's receiving a hell of a lot of benefits to represent the university. He'll be treated accordingly to how well he represents.

So would you if you had his talent.

Don't be so jealous of player benefits. They have to work longer and harder than most of us to get to and stay where the are in the pecking order on campus.

Since he has been at LSU he threw a punch at a dude. Something he shouldn't have done, but hardly a ripple in the water compared to what other college and pro players have done.

This isn't being disputed. Perception is reality though, and Miles and the AD will make their decisions based on team and university rules, as well as public perception and how it affects the brand.
