re: Foodies Fantasy Football League (OP UPDATED)

One of my leagues might be dissolving. Let me know if a spot comes open. My yahoo account is cingular_ben@yahoo.com.

Thoughts on a auction draft instead of formal? (BOTH TYPES CAN BE DONE ONLINE THROUGH YAHOO)
I've never done and auction so may end up voting for it.

Auction may be more difficult to do unless we schedule a time to all be on TD or use go to meeting or something like that. With a regular draft, we could set a time limit per pick and if you don't have a pick in, you automatically get the highest rated player that's still available, per the rankings of whatever website we decide to use. That being said, If we can all get together I'd be willing to try an auction, if we can work it out.

You can do auction online as well, through yahoo.

I don't think everyone lives close enough to BR to do it in person.

Whichever we do, I say that the money has to be turned in before your first pick. I was in a league a couple of years ago kind of like this that it was like pulling teeth for the commish to get all the money when the season ended, and I got second in the league so i got shorted some money since not everybody paid.

I think $50 is good. Keeps it fun without being too much of a financial burden. That would give us $600 total.

I suggest the following payout:
1st: $300
2nd: $150
3rd: $50
Regular Season Winner: $100

If no regular season, we could add that to first place, or split it between 2nd and 3rd.

Getting your money back isn't worth a crud. I was going to say 550 to 1st and 50 to 2nd but if I missed out on 550 then 50 isn't gonna help. I say winner takes all.

I'd rather a standard draft....but will do either.

I'm good with $50

Did the emails go out? I got an invite to a league.

Standard draft is cool with me. I'm fine with $50 entry paying 1-3. I can send via paypal if that's ok. Do we have some draft date/time options? Has the scoring been discussed?

Standard

Eta: have there been a full breakdown of what's up for grabs? I head bourbon and cash. Why both? I think that's kind of dumb. Cash/giftcards is the way to go. I drink bourbon 2 times a year. I don't want 11 bottles of it.
