Places to eat in Panama City Beach?

We're headed down there next month for a 3-night stay. We used to go to Destin all the time when my folks had a condo, so over the 10 years they owned it never really went anywhere else. Last year we took two beach trips. One in the spring to Orange Beach, and one late summer to Point Clear. The dining options in Point Clear were few. So we're going back to a condo area that my wife and her family used to go to. My mother-in-law and maybe my brother-in-law are going with us, since our son will be just 2 months old, so she can watch him for a few hours during the day so we can enjoy the beach with our 5 year old and not worry about him getting too hot, etc. Just looking for some local favorites to get good seafood. And places to avoid. TIA.

Yes-Firefly, Liza's kitchen, Dee's hangout, saltwater grill, angelos, schooners and boat yard
No-boondocks, any dirty dick's, captain Anderson (long wait $$$$ not worth it)

The Harbor House in Panama City on the bay is really good, not pricey, and a nice view...Sunday Buffett is the bomb.
Pecker.
Been a while so check if open.

In my experience, the new, flashy high-end places have long wait times, poor service, and mediocre food.
We find ourselves visiting Schooner's about three time each week we have been there. The food is consistent, great live entertainment, and you can't beat the location directly on the beach.
A must visit for me is the Hofbräu Beer Garden. It is in an open air mall(Pier Park maybe?) type of place. Enjoy a few steins of the brew, and savor some Bavarian cooking. They usually have nighttime entertainment as well. That beer will sneak up on you. Be careful.
Pineapple Willie's is good too. Stay away from the buffet restaurants.

Agree with firefly, saltwater grill, shrimp boat if you want a little more upscale.
Schooners, hunts oyster bar, dusty's, boatyard, uncle ernies are all good for food and drinking.
Liza's, Andy's flour power, Finns for breakfast and lunch.

Every local restaurant I went to on Spring Break was downright dreadful. Shucks was one of the worst places I've ever been to

Drive 40 minutes to go to the Red Bar in Grayton. Cash only and only 4-5 menu items at a time but it's worth the drive. Better than everything in PC.
