I wonder if Maine's Rick Ross is permanently blacklisted from the shows now, or if he will get one more chance. With the Rivals format, I don't know how Nia and Averey weren't invited instead of Anastasia and The Southern Snooki.

That's what I was thinking. I'm guessing Avery didn't want to go on the show with that bitch.

BN needs to get Nia on the next Challenge ASAP. She's not athletic and will get voted off first probably but damn, she would stir up some shite the first few nights.

The Challenges themselves have gotten weaker and less entertaining. Go back and watch some of the old Team Challenges from the first 10 seasons. The challenges were hard as shite and were time consuming. Obviously, B&M are too afraid to go back and re-use some awesome ideas. Everything has to be "suspended" in the air so the girls can get in their weird as shite UA sports bras and whatever. They spend so much time on making the final challenge hard, while spending little to no time making the team challenges entertaining.

yup. They really only do this as an excuse to get the chicks showing skin. But to me, they defeat the whole purpose because they have trashy girls.

The girls in general, minus like Jenn, Laurel and Mandi, have been pretty fricking awful the last three seasons. It's the same girls who suck/annoying/trashy: Camilla, Jonna, Jemeye, Emily, Paula, Sarah, Nany, Jasmine.

There really hasn't been any variation of late, which leads to my last point.

quote:

9. Format should be: Duel III or Cutthroat II or another Champions vs. Challengers spin

It needs to either be some sort of Dual III All-Stars or Ruins 2 so they can do a Champions vs. Challengers. This will allow only like a few shitty new girls and a few shitty new guys to be on the challengers team.

Emily's body is pretty banging. She's just too obsessed with working out which is a turn off.

I could see this being annoying if this was someone you knew in real life but just from TV that makes no sense.
quote:

I actually like Frank. He reminds me a lot of Dan from the original Challenges. Strong, smart, and queer.

Dan was bitchy like a stereotypical gay guy. Frank's an annoying a-hole.
quote:

4. Get rid of these trashy as shite girls, looking at you Jemmye and fricking Camila. Gross.

Camila looks good this season. Her hair being a lighter shade is totally working for her.

Old Guard:
Aneesa - Chicago 2001
Trishelle - Vegas 2002
CT - Paris 2003
Wes - Austin 2005
Johnny/Paula - Key West 2005/06
Diem - Fresh Meat 2006 (forgot she was FM)
Dunbar - Sydney 2007/08
Sarah - Brooklyn 2009

New Guard/4th Wave Challenge
Jasmine/Jonna/Derek - Cancun 2009
Ty/Emily - DC 2009/10
Cara/Theresa - Fresh Meat II 2010
Jemmye/Knight -NOLA II 2010
Cooke/Naomi/Nany/Leroy - Vegas II 2010/11
Frank/Zach - San Diego II 2011
Robb/Trey - St. Thomas 2012
Jordan/Marlon/Bird/Fat Bitch - Portland 2013

Just fricking suck
Tyrie - Denver 2007 (killed RW for me for a while)

The bolded seasons are ones that I watched when they were originally on. I really haven't watched the Challenge too closely through the last 4-5, so I don't know about 20 of the contestants or almost 2/3rds of the show. So, maybe it's on me, but they just aren't as good material wise as the old crew used to be.

Now, these veterans just let the other 2/3rds go nuts while making the 4th wave wax their balls just to stay in the game. It's crazy that B&M let Wes and CT be on a team, because that's a natural Veteran alliance, they'll put differences aside to make money, especially sense they semi-respect each other. Wes hates Johnny, Evan, and Kenny (as evidenced in FMII) over any other challenge players.

Side Note (last for night):
Paula has really endeared herself to me over the years, from whore, complaining bitch, to real winner. I've enjoyed her transformation. Sarah seems to try and follow her path. From the first moment Sarah started doing challenges, she was so much better than she was on Brooklyn. Kudos to both of you.

I've heard I'd like Jenn, Laurel and Mandi. I'm going through the last 5-6 challenges slowly, but surely.

I like Emily, Paula, and Sarah. Just m.o.

I'm in on both of those. Champions vs. Challengers was one of my favorite seasons. Brad going nuts trying to win, and the challengers struggle to beat those other guys.

I'd take another "Bad Asses" vs. "Good Guys," but there are so few good guys now on the show

By riding coattails.

Also I disagree that good RW seasons give us good Challenge contestants. Paula, Tyler, and Johnny Bananas came from Key West which sucked and no one would've ever pegged Tyler and Paula as future Challenge regulars.

As her friend (on twitter/instagram), she's too obsessed with working out. She wants the money to open up her own gym, for herself.

Agreed, but Dan could be an annoying a-hole too when he wanted to be. He was good enough at the puzzles (where the frick have those been B&M????) to keep around.

quote:

Camila looks good this season. Her hair being a lighter shade is totally working for her.

I agree, but seriously, she shouldn't be on the Challenges. She's from "Spring Break Challenge." That's barely even B&M canon.

Well, I guess I liked that season more than you. It's not my favorite at all, but I guess I remember it more fondly for what Johnny and Paula have done.

Paula is a less attractive Veronica. She definitely does ride the coat tails of others to tons of wins. Paula's now won twice? I don't know, she sees how stupid it all is, yet she's cool with it and doesn't take it seriously any more.

Tyler---underrated fa sho

Fresh Meat originals were their mentors/teammates. That's disgusting.

Seriously, please never again with the Fresh Meat. I couldn't stand the seasons. Loved what they brought, but I do actually hate the Heel characters also.

I don't know how. All I remember from that season was hurricanes, Tyler being a bitch to Svetlana, and Paula weirdness.

Svetlana was so hot.

Agreed on the best seasons not correlating to the Challenges. I liked Hollywood a lot and they've had no presence on the show. On the other hand, Paris was terrible and CT was just an awkward, dumb loser, Philly and San Diego Part 2 sucked or so I've been told (I didn't finish either) but they had some important people come out from those seasons.

Btw, would you consider the second wave to be Miz, Landon, Alton, Frank, Coral, Veronica, Katie Doyle, Rachel, Tonya, Derrick, and Darrell? If so, who the hell is the first wave? Whoever was on when Jonny Mosley was hosting?

The first season i watched was Hawaii although I never watched Road Rules. The only thing I associate with that show was the playboy spread with Gisela and Veronica.

Definite 1st wave. Even though none of them were on at the very beginning I don't consider that super early stuff part of the Challenge. The real Challenge didn't start until The Gauntlet IMO.

All but Landon would be second wavers. I consider Landon to be third. I need to bring back by waves chart for y'all.
Miz and second wavers still had a moral code that was torn down by third wavers and pissed on by fourth wavers. Alliances/friendships/storylines are lost on this generation. They've also seen 15+ Challenge seasons.

I have every season from original All-Stars (Season 4) onward on my hard drive. I never saw the first three.

Svetlana, oh boy, she was something.

re: Challenge: Rivals II Season Thread

The first season I ever watched was Battle of the Seasons, which was the first season not to travel. I'd consider that kind of the beginning of the challenge we know today.

With that being said, I think the first wave is Miz, Coral, Theo, Timmy, Mark, Dan, Veronica, Ruthie, Julie, Tonya, Rachel, Shane, Eric N., Beth, Jamie

Then when the Gauntlet/Inferno started, I think the second wave began with Alton, Trischelle, Darrell, Abe, CT, Brad, Tina, Aneesa, Adam King, Derrick, Landon, Robbin

Third wave takes you into Fresh Meat when you get Wes, Evan, Kenny, Johnny, Easy, Eve, Diem, Tyler, Paula,

Then it's pretty much everyone else. You could break it up into fourth and fifth, I suppose. Fourth wave would be around the Island, Jenn, Tyrie, Dunbar, Johanna, Kelly Anne, Tori, Sarah, Chet, Theresa, Laurel, Cara

Then fifth wave is everyone else since 2010: Ty, Emily, Camila, Jasmine, Jonna, Knight, Jemeye, Frank, Zach, LeRoy, Trey, Nany, Marlon, Jordan, etc.

The first season I can remember was a guys vs. girls theme, and the girls were all catty bitches but the guys just always voted in whoever did the worst that week. Pretty sure it was the first Battle Of The Sexes, because I remember Puck being on it.

You'd never see that happen now, the guys that season (if I remember right) just played the whole thing straight up.

Hopes for the 25th Challenge Season (next season):

It should be a Challenge: All Stars show.

Bring out all the fricking big guns.

Dudes:

Mark
Alton
Landon
Derrick
Bananas
Brad
Kenny
Evan
CT
RoyLee
Derrell
Big Easy (for entertainment)
Wes
Abe
...people like that

Chicks:

Laurel
KellyAnne
Torie
Camilla
Katie
Robin
Emily
Rachel
Paula
Sarah
Evelyn
Coral (because I love her huge knocks)
Cooke
Julie (because she tries to murder people)
... shite like that.

Nobody would be a rookie, so there wouldn't be sacrificial lamb teams. Most of them would be friends. The politics would be awesome. And just make the challenges badass, and let them not get kicked off for fighting. It would be the highest rated Challenge ever.
