So we're blaming a college coach for the legal failures of his players?

That seems idiotic.

It's the overreaction of LSU fans that made our situation seem bad. Every school deals with players breaking the law. Having 41 players arrested on that team is nuckin futs

No. People who think we have it bad are ignorant reactionists. We're the cleanest program in terms of discipline, academics, etc. in the SEC outside of Vandy.

I think the reason some see LSU as having a lot of legal troubles is that they haven't been merely covered up....after a certain point is crossed Miles to his credit will put his foot down and often times even suspend his players or remove them from the team. Perilloux, Jefferson, mathieu, and Hill are all examples of this as well as wing, Simon, and ware receiving a game suspension. Floridas troubles on the other hand seem to be much worse hell janoris Jenkins even said after being kicked off the team by muschamp that if urban was still the coach he would have remained a part of the roster.

41 has to be as bad or worse than those Miami teams of the 80's. I'd love to see a comparison.

The article doesn't mention people "not pressing charges". Joiner played against us the next week b/c the impound yard changed their story

Les has lost control of 08 UF

but most Rantards will say JHill's fight was way worse than any of that and shows Miles doesn't have control.

That team was so talented too. That number of arrests is alarming. I mean obviously most won't play in the league but they have been given an opportunity to have a free education. An opportunity many of us would have given a lot to have.

That was a dirty team, Meyer made it clear winning was the most important thing.

Noticed it back then too, somehow all suspensions would be waived the week Florida had a big game. I was tired of seeing Meyer get away with it time and again. His reputation being tarnished is a start.

This has more to do with our sports culture than it does Meyer or UF.

The article says 31, not 41. Not that it matters that much.

Now we know why Meyer was so stressed out.
