This is my first NCAA game since 11 so clearly lots of differences
My biggest take away is that the game favors offense because it is so much easier to execute everything on offense. Defense you take one wrong move and you are toast.
Recruiting is skill kind of scaring me
The physics in this game are absurd
That said, this will occupy the remainder of my summer

How many fricking years is that garbage fricking animation going to be in the goddamn game?! I was just simply trying to run the fricking clock out so I could kick the game winning FG as time expired. My opponent went into prevent defense, and so when I saw that I knew that I wanted to dive to risk a big user hit and fumbling. but frick no, this stupid fricking game decides that the diving animation wants to cause me to fricking fumble the damn ball and give the fricking game away. SUCH bullshite.. Yes I'm mad, my jimmies are rustled, and all this other shite. I fricking hate playing cheesers who don't deserve to win.

and of course you still cannot view certain plays in replay mode because they haven't bothered to fix that either. Someone tell me why I bought this game again please?

This alone has caused me at least 3 games being lost that I for sure would have won. It's pretty maddening. I don't know why they even have that for the QB when I'm clearly pressing X to slide not dive. If they're going to let you slide, make it a different person, or press a direction with the X...I dont know

Everyone at EA should be fired. They didn't get it right ONCE for this generation of consoles and now we get to hear the excuses of "new console" bs.
Maybe the bug fixes and sliders will make a difference as it is too early to really be too pissed. But yeah, I'm just sick of this shite

I'm in the same boat right now....Because pass rushing is incredibly hard for some reason, I'm pretty much not affecting the play at all. I'm going to have to put in some serious time to user control either the LB's or safeties. Those who already do this will be way ahead of the curve.
Unfortunately I feel like it will take quite awhile for me to get the hang of defense. My first two games I played my opponent moved the ball at will. Luckily I play well enough on offense to win...but it was a struggle.

In Dynasty (OS had a roster with most relevant teams named, I just edited relevant coaches to their correct names an had Dynasty auto name anyone that wasn't named) I just destroyed VT, but momentum was hard to handle. Luckily once I was ahead all they did was drop back with 4 and 5 wide, I just contained and spied. Logan Thomas either threw it right to my DBs or he'd run right into CJ/Trey spying him, so if you wanna team to practice against, I suggest them.

Online fricking blows. Now I remember why I only play online dynasties.
Dude is UNC who is stupid stacked all over the field. Starting in the second quarter he used the entire play clock for the rest of the game.

I just finished getting gold on all the sparq drill stuff. Now I'm just messing with ultimate team. But my friend said he'd have our PS3 roster file done in the next hour or so.

The new consoles still haven't clicked completely for me yet. I got Tannehill in my SEC pack and was like WTF....oh yeah.
I started my 1-star dynasty because I don't really care about the rosters because most people will be graduated by the time I make it to a different school. The new C-USA and American conference really confused me.

the only real way to play defense on this fricking game is to run the ball and run the clock and pray for an interception. Stopping the run is easy but zone coverage is so fricking bad you have to stay in man 24/7

This is basically what I try to do with some blitzes peppered in. There is a blitz on 4-3 stacked where it just rushes the outside backer which is great for 3rd and long situations. I am in like the top 10 in rush defense and mid 70's on pass defense
I think the big thing is getting them in 3'rd and long situations, I still get beat a lot of the time here, but can usually stop them for about a 4th and 1.
I've realized the big thing on offense especially when trying to run the ball is to make audibles. I feel like every time I come out of the huddle with a run assigned they have a blitz set up in the direction I am trying to go.
This is the first game I feel like I can successful run a damn counter though.
