Kansas was noticeably worse when Withey was not on the floor last year.

Also, he doesn't have to worry about foul trouble playing 10-15 minutes a night.

Withey ought to be really good in time. Playing next to Anthony Davis will help him out too.

One thing that he doesn't get a ton of credit for is his lack of fouling. He knows how to keep his arms straight up and moves his feet very well. He forced countless tough shots and did it with out fouling. Plus he was very aggressive. Need that to survive the NBA.

I agree, I'm just saying that he's slightly undersized if he's going to see 10-15 minutes a game this year. I'd rather let him play his game aggressively on defense and not worry about it was my point.

I hadn't read the ATH piece before saying that they were noticeably worse without him just from the eyeball test.

From the article:

Withey finished 8th in the NCAA in adjusted statistical plus/minus in 2013, just a shade behind the #4 overall pick, Zeller.

Thanks for the Link.

Here is a draft combine interview with Jeff. Classy guy..I am a fan!

LINK

He was asked to compare himself to a current NBA player: to summarize his response "I want to be a Tyson Chandler or Joakim Noah type of player"

i hope he can develop into a starter or above average bench player. Are they gonna add him to the SL roster?
