I saw Jared Fernandez, a Chubby Knuckler, pitch for the Nashville Sounds around 2007ish. The day I saw him he throw a complete game shut-out. I know he had a cup of coffee in the MLB and he played in Japan. But for that night he was something else the way that ball danced.

There was a lefty from St Amant in the mid 90s - last name started with a W. He was their ace. For reference, a guy by the name of Ben Sheets was the #2 guy.

He was an average pitcher for his age...he just happened to have hit puberty while playing against tykes.
I bet you would dominate your Karate dojo if all the students were kids.

Josh Rainwater at Deridder back in the early 2000s. Was drafted By Detroit but had a few surgeries. Made it up to AAA I think.

Dale Stokes at Rummel was incredible. Left handed and I batted left handed hated facing him.
Chito Martinez, we played together at Miley in Babe Ruth and against each other before all stars. Once in high school we played against Brother Martin, Chito didn't pitch much in high school and he was playing right field. We were playing at the field off of Carrolton where the first base dugout is out toward right field. My team was riding Chito the whole game, telling him to get the burrito out of his pocket etc. Well late in the game he came in to pitch and threw nine pitches and struck out the side.
He made it to the bigs, as an outfielder. Was the next big prospect for the Royals until they signed a guy by the name of Bo Jackson. He made it up with the Orioles then got in a car accident and his career was over.

His kids name is Dash and he looks just like the kid from the Incredibles
