wait, you're allowed to trial run equipment before brew day?
Kids kept me busy this weekend so I wasn't able to transfer over my sours onto fruit until this morning. Should still be ready in plenty of time for Brew At The Zoo.
Was going to try and brew a DIPA this week, but I have a hop order from YVH stuck in BFE Idaho bc of these stupid arse wild fires.
I've been working on an oat APA recipe for a while and may end up brewing it this week instead.
Looking for something like the low abv, low ibu, but high hop flavor beers that Tree House, Trillium, and Tired Hands (among others) have been brewing. This is what I'm thinking
OG: 1.050
IBU: 40
SRM: 5ish
Grain:
44% - Two Row
44% - Pearl Malt
12% - Flaked Oats
Hops:
60m - 30 IBUs Magnum
0m - 0.5 oz Amarillo
0m - 0.5 oz Centennial
0m - 0.5 oz Mosaic
180 - 1.0 oz Amarillo
180 - 1.0 oz Centennial
180 - 1.0 oz Mosaic
DH5 - 2.0 oz Amarillo
DH5 - 2.0 oz Centennial
DH5 - 2.0 oz Mosaic
Yeast:
Vermont IPA or something like that
Mash:
Low (150??)

never used Pearl, but these
are exactly the kind of beers that I am into right now.

I'd drink it.
I kegged another batch of my coffee vanilla porter and a Citra-Mosaic (D)IPA last night. Taste test of the IPA going into the keg was very promising. Further research is required.

Lord no, it was brew day. I don't know how the change in equipment threw me off my game so much but it sure did. seemed like it took forever to get done but all the new stainless did its job.
