Just kegged up our Grapefruit RyePA for Zoo Brew.

Pitched the 1007 starter into our Gose that's been with nothing but lacto the past week at lunch today and it was bubbling away when I got home.

Brewed another batch of my pumpkin porter yesterday. Kegged batch 1 and pitched batch 2 on the yeast cake. Started bubbling in 45 minutes. Damn thing is gonna be fermented out by tomorrow.

I didnt get a chance to brew this weekend. Another one lost in the books. I did however keg the two kegs for the upcoming festivals. I may hold mine back from Brew at the Zoo, since I won't be there, so the club can have more at Gulf Brew.

Well, my outside brewing equipment is at my parents house for the time being, so my brewing for the next year will be limited. A little bummed, but that just means I have to make what I brew count. Less experiments for the near future.

I did just remember I could do a couple quick ciders without my burner/kettles, so I might do that tonight.

I also just got a new programmable fermentation controller in. Excited to try that out. The Black Box

I did, sorry to not touch base. I chatted with Lindsey so I completely forgot to send an email/post your way. I appreciate you sending the stuff down. Coincided with buying a truck so the hat fits in nicely. Beer is fantastic.

IMO if you are going to put that much effort into making an English beer, go ahead and use English hops. For me hops make such a big impact on brown ales, especially when it comes to my idea of English brown ales.

I can go either way. I've been wanting to make a pale ale or IPA with good old cascade, rather than all the citra/amarillo/galaxy/etc...

But i'm not making that until next year, so i decided to input cascade into this brown ale.
