What will the suicide level of this thread be if City lose but Liverpool fail to win? (Though I don't know if that's even possible against Newcastle)

I will single handedly ruin Mother's Day for everyone in my family with my drunken stupor if City lose and Liverpool fail to win.

To me, it's still baffling that we have a chance after the last two results...

Downing to Carroll for the match winner!

I think the price is a little high, but he's proven in the past couple of years that he is a talented player and only gotten better while doing it in the premier league.

And don't forget we also paid 20m for Downing, so I don't think we're overpaying THAT much

yeah, but we over paid for Downing, too... I think £15mm is about right... But SOTON doesn't really need the money, and hes english, so they will def want a premium price.. I just hope it gets done before WC, just in case he has a good one and price tag goes up..

I'm not opposed to it, as long as we still get the other players we NEED and don't go bargain shopping for them... Lallana will give us a different option to Coutinho as the #8 in a 4-3-3, or out wide... even the #10 at the tip of the diamond... I like his versatility..

Add Joe Cole and and West Ham is Liverpool lite.

That's what I was getting at

I think we would be overpaying for Lallana, but considering the English premium and a guy that has proven himself and worked his way up the English ranks that you won't have to worry about adapting to the English game, I don't think we'd be overpaying as much and getting raped like we did in the Downing deal.

Has Skyrtel scored more for us or against us this year?

For. He only has 4 own goals.

I want the entire backline completely re-done for 2014.

I'd like Sakho to stay healthy and get a good run of games next season, I really like him... The other three can go (and Kolo), though I'd like Skrtel to stay and compete with a new RCB...

Also, time to get some £ for Agger... We also, def need a real DM to come in...

Now would be a good time to go back to the 3-4-3.

I will be very sad to not have Agger anymore. He is one of my favorites, and he bleeds for the club. But I agree with you in what is best for Liverpool.

A proper DM is an absolute must.

Well it's not how we wanted it to end, but hey we're back in European football next season. Hopefully we'll spend our CL money to make our defense as strong as our attack.

If Martin promises he'll stop scoring for the team he can stay.
To be honest I think the back line should be totally redone as well. It is freaking amazing we finished second they way they've played for large portions of the year
