Yeah, Aurier
promising player, would live to sign him.

Also wouldn't mind looking at van rijhn from Ajax.

Going to be a tough match at Hull tomorrow.. The boys really need three points to put some massive pressure on Everton.

Can't wait..

I wonder how much more effective Giroud is when Ramsey plays.

Not just Giroud but also Podolski. He thrives as the third scorer.

They still haven't looked on form like they were before Christmas, but the movement and prowess of the team in the final third is SO MUCH better/creative with Ramsey and Özil in the middle. It's amazing.

Night and fricking day. How beautiful were both of those goals?

And I'm still saying keep Podolski in the starting lineup until his makes us do otherwise.

@CulannDavies said it best IMO: his all-around play is much easier to stomach when rambo and mesut are out there.

God damn our movement this game was brilliant.

Hopefully we don't get arrogant against Hull in the FA Cup. They pressed us really well in the opening of the game and thank god we had Ramsey to break the press by running between the lines. Ramsey seems to want to take over games, which is awesome. He makes everyone play better. He should have had another goal, and he had a couple of brilliant balls in, especially one with the outside of his foot that Giroud stopped short for.

For me it was sluggish at times, they could have really killed this hull team.

But, Ramsey and Arteta. hats the pairing we miss so bad. I didn't think Ramsey would just pick up where he left off, but god damn. He's so good. Another brace for poldi. Defense was fine. Overall that's going to keep us top 4 and win the FA cup. I truly believe the bpl was ours with just Ramsey. Lil passes of play like between he and Giroud on the sideline shows his skill on the ball. He is the future of Arsenal.

Man, what a pleasure to watch this team with Mesut and Aaron back. Night and day.

We missed Ramsey's engine and creativity so much.

Happy Easter, boys and girl. I love you all.

Just a quick question for gunners fans, how frustrated are you or aren't you with ownership's transfer policy? Watching y'all play its clear you're just 2 top end players and some energy away from being one of the top clubs in the world but they just won't spend it. I know they were citing stadium financing for awhile but can that really be the issue at this point?

It is really Wenger's policy. He is a value guy as a trained economist. We have made some desperate moves like Arteta on the final day, but that proved to be a sound move.

Now that that is over it is being reported that the club has well over 100mm pounds to spend. They still won't overpay though. Ozil for 42mm pounds wasn't overpaying and proves that we will spend big for the right player.

I expect Arsenal to be very active this summer signing a young RB, a striker, a CB, a DCM and possibly a winger.

Ozil was superb today. Hull played two out and out strikers and left a ton of space between the back line and midfield, and Ozil ate it up. Drew what should have been a penalty, opened up the Podolski right foot shot on target, opened up the opening goal, the second, and his movement on the third freed up the space.

Just had to add that b/c commentator gave the typical "Ozil is talented, but needs to be on the cutting edge more" bullshite after the game. Sometimes that's true...today it was not.

Can't say enough about Rambo, either. I'll let his day speak for itself. He's a fricking monster. Our future is bright. Let's just get to the CL and have a big summer with a trophy in our hands.

Speaking of that, who does everyone think we should go with at those positions? Its obvious we need depth after the disastrous spell of injuries we had this season so I don't think we can afford to sign a bunch of Yaya Sanogo projects, I think we have to sign guys who can push our current guys and start when they need to.

Personally I would like to get Mandzukic provided they will sell for a decent price. I think we can afford to get a younger less proven RB with Sagna still in the team, that Aurier guy sounds good from what I've read.

Who else do we get? Do you think we sell anyone and if so who?

well, i suppose we can keep posting this list every few pages on here

RB - been linked to Serge Aurier and Sebastian Jung fairly heavily. wouldn't mind seamus coleman but he's likely to pricey for our tastes.

CM - we really have been linked to many CMs lately, which is odd. We were linked to Lars Bender last year, so i'd imagine we'll make another run there. Schneiderlin wouldn't be a bad EPL ready option. There's a chance we could nab Khedira depending on who Real go after (i think he's only got one year left on his contract).

ST - we've been linked to a lot: Mandzu, Drmic, Balo, Benz...i think a lot of it will come down to the striker carousel that will happen (again) this summer.

CB - we've been linked to Ginter, but German journos seem to think he's Dortmund bound. not sure who we'll target here, but you have to think we'll add.

winger - griezmann and draxler have been heavily linked.

GK - we need one since Fabianski is gone and Viviano is a loanee.

as for who we sell, i think TV5 is probably gone. i thought maybe poldi too, but now i don't since he's been on fire scoring goals. besides that, i don't think there's anyone we'll sell. we need to add depth, not stay the same.

Yeah vermaelen is going to want to start so he's most likely the player we sell. Other than the list of guys that never play.
