Bregman hits a two run double in the gap. Instead of the leg chop, the rant now tries to figure out what this means:

I watched IU against FSU, they were crushing it...and in the regional. Legit hitting team. This is a prime example

Today the ball park had nothing tho do with the score, there were no drives that had a chance of going out. Indiana just could not hit Boyd. he had 11 k's. Beavs just could not hit with runner in scoring position, which unfortunately has been the case this series.

All NCAA HCs should start recruiting lineups of nothing but Pete Rose and Rod Carew..

High BA/OBP flare-shooters that can loft it over the infield and/or shoot it in the gaps.

Maybe a few power hitters to ride the pine too..just in case weather allows for a few strong wind blowing out days.

^^^SARCASM^^^

NCAA Baseball has restrictor plate racing..and they love the perpetuated pathetic pitiful punchless parity!

Paul Mainieri is offering 8th graders scholarships to LSU. Not for 2019, but for next year. He wants a small strike zone to try and draw a walk.

Yeah, those are easy to come by.

Actually, Matt Boyd is our Ace. Normally our Friday starter. Casey Changed it up because he thought "zit boy" as you call him here was a better matchup against MSU. Then used Boyd out of the bull pen. He Is an all American Pitcher.

Don't bother...most of the posters have never watched any WC ball...and think if they're not getting shelled - it's the ball, bat and field issues.

There's a reason UCLA averages 358 people a game at their home games...

Pray for a walk/error, sac bunt, hope for a wild pitch, 4 hopper to 2nd base to score a run =

Nope - it's just not a big spectator sport out West.

But your or anyone else's fandom has no relation to how good those teams are...and what the Beavers pitcher did today.

This. People don't realize the amount of talent that's on the west coast, which is why there's so many "small schools" that are able to compete with teams from major conferences.

West Coast baseball has always been about pitching. There's a bunch of high school pitchers out there that are just as good or better than Aaron Nola.

Nobody said those teams aren't good.

I have just said that this ball park does not give you a good representation of good baseball. The UCLA pitchers have made several mistakes to both LSU and NC St but the ball park turned home runs into fly ball outs.

You're wasting you're time trying to convince anyone that doesn't admit what's going on.

They obviously have a vested interest.

Numbers don't lie. Close your eyes and pick any pitching or hitting stat you want from CWS pre- and post- new ballpark.

Around 1910, the MLB HR leaders were in single digits. By the '20's, Babe Ruth was hitting 60. It's a different game right now.

Just when college baseball might be at a peak of popularity due to ESPN coverage, etc., they go and shoot themselves in the frickin foot. I consider myself a baseball purist, and have listened to as many games on the radio as I have watched in my lifetime, and I have to draw the line somewhere.

And this is not an LSU thing. We didn't have the team to win this tournament, period. But, I'll be damned if anyone is going to say there's 8 frickin Aaron Nola's out there, with that type of movement and accuracy.

Rodon has wicked stuff, and there's a few others that can succeed at the ML level, but every frickin starter looks like a first overall pick in this park.

I have NO doubt this shite is going to get fixed, and in a hurry. Probably faster than the SEC changed the bye weeks before Bama games.

Thats probably why he's going to be picked in the 5th or 6th round next year. Guys like him are a dime a dozen.

Yeah, he's average. Nothing about him will translate to the next level. He doesn't get by on stuff coupled with precision, he just plays in a park where he can say "ah frick it, as long as I throw it over the plate I can get away with it".
