LSU baseball fans are the best and its not even close. Its not just that we travel, we treat, and we cheer unlike any other fans in college baseball, we bring far more to the game.

For LSU fans really know their baseball and appreciate it more so than any other college fans, it comes naturally after having witnessed greatness many times over. Enough so, LSU fans recognize and cheer on any great play, even an opposing teams. This doesn't happen with any fan base anywhere, but it happens anywhere there are LSU fans.

Do we appreciate every LSU player and your contributions this season, d#mn straight we do, your character and abilities were off the charts, certainly no.1 in our hearts, believe it.

So much to appreciate from you, the LSU players, how well you played as a team, how well you represented yourselves as players. All we could have hope for, you were, which is what makes this loss the most painful. Hard to imagine players ever more deserving of being no.1, than you. In the game of life, that is a win. A thought many of us would gladly wish upon themselves. Thank you for giving us so much this season. Sadly, I can't say the same for our coaches.

That statement gets you a swift "go frick yourself".

If you don't think the coaches worked hard and had a big part of the success of the team, then you are a fricking idiot.

Yes, coaches have no motivation to win. It's not like it's their job or anything.

Da fuk is this?!?

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Javi Sanchez is not a very good hitting coach because he refuses to break freshmen of bad hitting habits, he does not teach a unified hitting stance and/or technique, there is a lack of development of players from year to year (many get worse the longer they're at LSU), there is little to no teaching of bunting fundamentals, inability of our players as a whole to hit curve balls or identify a high fastball that's out of the zone, and his strategy for working the pitch count routinely puts LSU hitters well behind in the count.

Javi is not the only reason we lost, but I do not think he should remain the hitting coach.

Were you around when the old box had about 50 people and they yelled at the "referee"? LSU fans are rabid, I'll give them that but most are not nearly as baseball smart as you make it sound. The one thing they do better than most is tailgate and make noise.

This year's team did what one scout had told me midseason, very good team that will get to Omaha but won't win it. You can't rely on long balls in a decent sized park with the bats and balls they use today; in my opinion it makes it baseball again.

So you wrote all that just so you could take a jab at the coaching staff?

Idiot.

This isn't true sometimes....this board has told me that Plutko and Thornton were bum rag arms and the only reason LSU lost was because of the bats and the big park.

I don't recall you complaining about the coaches when we won the SEC tournament, or the BR regional or when we defeated the 3rd draft pick and first pitcher selected in the draft in the super regional or when we won the super regional by scoring 11 runs or when we were named the #4 national seed in the CWS.

Where were you then, Mr. Bandwagoner?

Coaching didn't cause LSU to kick the ball around in the first game or not get the hit when needed in the second game.

Lack of player execution played a much bigger role in LSU being back at home than coaching did.

The guys who had made the plays all year, didn't make them either Sunday or Tuesday.

End of story.
