Brother works at Honeywell. Called me to tell me they evacuated and he's at home. Said he saw at least 6 medevac choppers flying in though.

My brother is a first responder so I know all a out this. Keep him in your prayers. Those guys are fearless.

We have a satellite plant on the Williams facility but thank god all of our guys are accounted for a unharmed.

This is tough. One of the reasons I avoided plant work after graduation. All we can do is hope for the best for all involved now.

I got out of plants 2 years ago.
This type event reminds me of how good that decision was.

apparently some chick on my fb news feed was good friends with the person from hammond who was the one fatality, guessing he's a younger guy

Sad to say, but the number is likely to go up. Hopefully these guys jumped fence and ran, and are alive and kicking. I hate when this shite happens.
