For those who don't now she wasn't in the book. Peter Jackson and the team created her. She is a lot younger than Legolas and many of the elves.

I was actually not a huge fan of the first one.
Unlike the LoTR movies, it felt overly kiddy. I'll probably check out this new one eventually, but I'm not that excited for it.

These are gonna be a lot darker with the Necromancer and Smaug. I don't see how anyone isn't excited about these next 2 movies. Especially this one with Smaug.
The first one was really good. No LOTR but it isn't suppose to be so..

They are keeping Smaug so shut tight that not even PJ wife could see it. They have spent so many years designing Smaug. The pressure is on. They are re shooting these next two months for more scenes from these next 2 movies. Can't wait to see how they bridge the hobbit to LOTR.

I really liked the first one (and everything Tolkien for that matter) but the next two are going to be soooo much better
Now all the characters and the quest are introduced. Now it's time for the actual journey to really pick up
