Maybe it's been the problems manufacturing points when you need them, but I just really like McCollum and KCP the most. I would pick one of those 2 or trade back to get them later.

Not only does Porter seem like the type of player we should be able to attract in FA once the team is good, but I think he would take a while to have much impact. MCW and Oladipo would help defensively but it seems like we'd be stuck in the same place on offense, if Ryno isn't on fire we don't have a shot at winning.

Last week Oladipo was the next coming of Dwayne Wade in his prime.

Now he is sliding?

This whole process is an absolute joke.

I really think they need to get a second pick. I know they are tired of rookies, but getting whomever at 6 (Burke, Len, McCollum, etc) plus another mid first (KCP, MCW, Crabbe, Saric, Karasev, etc) would be nice. Id wouldn't mind trading down for two of the second group either

They need more talent and I would rather hedge with a 2nd rookie than go all out in a meh FA class.

Someone at HoopsWorld posted a top 5 FA SF list the other day and I guess that was the first time I had seen all the names we've been getting somewhat excited about all in one place and I realized that even though some are young enough to improve, currently they are all pretty much back ups on contending teams.

Us wanting to follow it minute by minute is the joke. 1) Most teams don't start making decisions until after guys start working out for them. 2) Once they've made a decision it's in their best interest to lie like hell about who they plan to take.

Which is fine for a team like the Pels, still at least another year or two away from being good. Just hope it doesnt mean they do something rash now

No reasonable person said he was the next d wade, they're saying that's his ceiling. Something I don't think has changed

If you draft Oladipo at 6 it's because you hope he could be the next DWade not because you believe he'll be the next Desmond Mason, no?

Completely agree. With the way Shabazz has fallen, I would love to grab him late if we don't get a SF with the first pick. If not him, Karasev.

If the Pels get Porter or Oladipo at 6 I think either of those will be a great pick. Of the two I think I'd take Porter, but like I said, I'd be quite happy with either.
