lol how many 40+ year old demographic season ticket holders that aren't good at the internet you think they had bitch them out over the phone, lol

I'm one of those "40+" dudes, however, I kick my kids arse at computers and the interwebz--believe it or not, they come to me with their computer issues. (and I'm still the king of gaming--they're embarrassed to admit it to their friends...)

I like to call and complain for a number of reasons:

1--I'm old and grumpy

2--Calling and speaking to someone really gets to them, whereas an email is deleted immediately

3--TV broadcast is, as of now, better quality--no streaming interruptions, etc.

NOW GET OFF OF MY LAWN!!!

It's a fact - more and more Americans, esp. young Americans, are watching programming from their computer, tablet and smart phones.

I don't like it anymore/any less than other LSU fans....but it does offer a lot more convince vs. traditional TV

How does this grow the sport? There will be shitty programming on the ESPNs on tv while college baseball can only be found streaming online. I fail to see how it will reach a larger audience.

I'm not ignorant either and pay $165 per for Direct TVand don't think I aught to pay another cent to watch the regional. LSU television coverage the whole season has sucked! We are 4 hours away and have seen about 4 freekin games. Have to get it handed down from the rant, thanks for that, BTW. 1680 AM ?
Never heard of that station and sure as hell don't get it.
Done wineing , Geaux Tigers! Let me know how they do.

This thread has been highly amusing

It shouldn't be an issue for anyone to watch this game unless they have no internet.

Have any of y'all stopped to think that ESPN may have contractual programming they can't pre-empt on their other stations, which may be one of the reasons why the BR Regional is on their WatchESPN platform?

I don't think this is really an issue. ESPN just doesn't care all that much about college baseball. They give more coverage and analysis to the Little League World Series than they do college baseball

Arsehats, if your provider is not on the ESPN list of providers, your WatchESPN app will not work from your device.

It isn't an issue, I would just rather watch the Tigers on my large screen TV rather than my laptop. On espnU they are showing Wichita St. vs Kansas St. On the regular espn thaey are showing that shitty show Sports Nation. LSU is ranked #1 in the country and they take a back seat to these shitty programs?!!

espn!

SportsNation would probably get a MUCH higher rating than Jackson State/LSU baseball.

Who actually watches that crap? I'd much rather watch a sport than find out which person's nonchalant reaction to a big win was the most impressive:

Arvind Mahankali after winning 86th Scripps National Spelling Bee or LeBron James after last-second layup to win Game 1 vs. Pacers

Big Texan - I agree. I am ready to approach DirecTV complaining about how my prices (like yours) are high to begin with and not offering unbiased sports coverage --- Big 10, 12, ACC. Yet they are offering sweet deals to newcomers. When you threaten to leave & disconnect them, they find a "supervisor" who arranges something just for "you". But is a PITA. And how many nights do you spend flipping thru channels and find nothing to watch? I do admit that I am an older and technically challenged person. Maybe I can get something special from congress due to my affliction !!! Start "wineing" or grab a cold beer.

I have Comcast Cable and internet, which has a Watch ESPN application. I pay Comcast for the fastest internet connection speed available from them.

The quality of the picture on ESPN3 last night was downright shitty. Much of the time you couldn't even see the ball. It was like watching the old console TV's that had adjustable tuning for the stations.. and constantly having to re-tune it. frick ESPN for this anachronism.

They try to feed us this shite and tell us it is better. frick them! I want a TV quality picture and not this god damn streaming quality shite. Is the SEC Network going to be this overhyped and under-delivered too?

I can't get in anymore. It's reset to asking my cable provider but never allows me to enter the info.
