Wimbledon used to be my favorite, but since serve and volley tennis is dead, it's now the US Open. But I don't see how anyone can like the endless groundstrokes of the French... but to each his own.

I'll put Indian Wells above Wimbledon... But if we are just talking majors then

1. Wimbledon

3. French
4. Australian
I enjoy all of the majors. From a US fan standpoint, it would be nice if Aussie was a little later and the US Open were a little earlier to avoid conflict with football season. Also living in Virginia I can't usually play during the Australian open, so it doesn't seem like tennis "season" and I prefer the tournaments where I can go outside and play before/after watching.

I love the Aussie. I think it's likely because by the time it rolls around I'm jonesing for some tennis. Also, it's played on a relatively slow hard court, and I like watching matches on slower hard courts (e.g. Indian Wells).

I can see that since it is the first major of the year. I would just get a lot more into it if it were after the Super Bowl. In January I am fully into football mode (college bowl games plus NFL playoffs). But if it filled the gulf between football and baseball I'd love it!
The other thing I forgot to mention in my original reply is that it is tough to watch games live for the Aussie Open b/c of the time difference.

I personally love the French Open. By far my favorite tournament of the year.

I went to the US Open a couple years ago and loved it. It's the only major I have actually been to though. In terms of watching on tv, I'd probably go Wimbledon, US, Auzzie, French.
