Killed this rattler in clinton, la on my property a couple weeks back

Had rubber boots on and not my snake boots 
another step and I would have stepped right on top of him, thank god he was moving over wise I would not have seen him...
His tail is black cause we shot him in the tail then head. (8 rattles)

Came across one of those leaving our camp last year but he was far enough away and such a huge some bitch I didn't kill him. Fully five feet long and probably a bit more. BIG fricking rattler.
