Making a Spec's run. What should I look for

All,
The Missus and I are going to Houston for Memorial Day weekend. We're going to tour the St. Arnold Brewery, eat good Mexican food, visit some museums, go to IKEA and hit Spec's.
Any recommendations on what I should look for beer wise? I planned on picking up some Dales Pale Ale, some varieties of Jester King, Dogfish Head and Real Ale.
TIA

has Firestone Walker hit Houston yet?

In 1994, IKEA became the first company to feature a homosexual couple in a commercial.

I'm a big fan of the 471 Small Batch IPA from Breckenridge Brewing. Someone on here keeps promising me they're coming soon to Louisiana, but I'm getting very impatient waiting.
Also enjoy Sixth Glass from Boulevard.

No, but Founders has
To the OP, I have no recommendations because I have no idea what you like to drink

be advised they're closed on Sundays and may be closed Memorial Day as well.

Recommend Karbach instead... but you'll have fun either way.

Not sure what you really go for, but other breweries to look out for are Founder's, Great Divide, Avery, Boulevard, Ska, and more. Plus other TX breweries like No Label and Karbach.

I love St. Arnold Endeavour
Stone Enjoy By is another favorite
Sierra Nevada Torpedo is a go to beer. As is Redhook Long Hammer.
In the summer, I enjoy drinking Shiner Ruby Redbird.
I'm looking forward to NOLA Mechahopzilla in cans.
It's been way too long since I had an Ommegang Three Philosophers.
Parish Canebreake is my safety beer in restaurants and bars.
I had a Cambridge Brewing Company Audacity of Hops over the weekend. It was OK. I had a Sgt. Pepper by the same brewery and that was a chore to drink. Never again.
When I want to drink in mass quantities, like at Mardi Gras or a bachelor party, Miller Lite is how I get down.

Firestone walker not in Houston yet and maybe won't be coming at all...for my money they are way more appealing than the founders stuff we get

Good to know, thanks. We may hit there Saturday before we go to St. Arnold.

Karbauch Barn Burner Saison is a great beer for the summer

And they close at 9pm per TABC laws. Even if you're in line at 9pm, no sale.

Red Hook long hammer is a very very poor beer imo.

Get you some Karbach
Hopadillo IPA
Rodeo Clown DIPA
Hopadillo negro black IPA
Roshambo Belgian IPA
Hellfighter bourbon barrel porter
Get you some southern star pine belt pale ale and buried hatchet stout, and red cockaded ale if its out this week
Real Ale has quite the selection out now
I'd also look for Oskar Blues, Lagunitas, Dogfish Head

Also many places sell growlers so you can take home some special beers that may only be on draught. A placed called Growlers Beer and Wine To Go, located on Waugh, fills them under pressure so they're shelf stable. There's also a place called Premium Draught which has a good selection too. Bars like Petrol Station and Hay Merchant will fill you up too. You can bring your own growler if you have one or buy one and reuse it when you return.

If you do this, hit the one on Smith street. St arnolds is right up the road from there.
I would suggest going after the brewery though. Always fun/dangerous to go through there with a buzz

Look for Ommegang Hennepin Farmhouse Saison. It's my go to summer beer.
