Disagree. He runs the point so obviously he will have the ball alot but its to feed the others.

He'd fit well as he is part of that clique.

I think a player like Serge Ibaka would make the Heat even better than they are now. He's not necessarily a superstar, but he can rebound, block, and is strong enough to control the paint.

Working him down low with Bosh's ability to spread the floor with a midrange game would make the Heat a very hard team to defend against.

So you want to couple your post presence of Chris Bosh, with Chris Bosh who blocks shots?

to be fair bosh blocks 1.4 per game, and he is a better on-ball defender (which means fewer blocks, as ibaka love the weakside help to get those blocks)

Agreed. Bosh is never going to be a shot blocker like Ibaka because he's not an explosive jumper. But his pick and roll defense is perfect for the Heat. He's really an underrated defender by many.

But I do think an Ibaka/Bosh line up works as two big floor spacers with Ibaka in Battier's role. Ibaka would have to become a better post defender though.

Exactly. This is what makes LBJ different from MJ and Kobe. You don't need a point guard to compliment LBJ's game. You need a decent shooting guard, 3 point shooters and big men in the post who can defend.

Only if espn airs a 1 hour special just for the announcement. That was great tv.

the funny thing is 59 minutes of it was terrible tv.

But most of the folks who bash it were also glued to their TVs watching it

How about yall wait until the little dream team that is already assembled gets past the pacers and grizz/spurs.

And yeah, let them add a superstar like Chris Paul. Everyone here constantly calling him a flopping bitch would suddenly become lifelong CP3 fans.

I don't think you have a very good handle of folks' opinion on the Heat here on the MSB
