I don't understand the hate for kayaks that some (Hammertime, Motorboat) on this board have. It's like hating bicycles because you drive a motorcycle. There's still a use for them. Who cares if someone likes to kayak.

I agree. I've fished out of a boat my entire life but kayak fishing looks fun. It's a pain in the arse to do everything by yourself on a boat. We just got a place near Lake Boudreaux so when the funds come available I am definitely getting a kayak so I can go down and fish for a day and not have to worry about launching the boat, picking it back up, cleaning it, etc. Both are useful and awesome.
