Yes, I deliberately mispelled pralines as praleans to better rhyme with New Orleans.
My wife has some business associates coming to New Orleans this weekend for a bachelorette party and asked me to make a batch of pralines to include in goodie bags she's making for all the ladies. Most have never been to New Orleans so she included necessities like antacids and headache remedies. :D

Right around 230* this is like naplam if you splash it on bare skin.

Done! These came out really good too!

Looks awesome.

By the way, praleans doesn't rhyme with New Or-lens

More than one. Drives me crazy when people say "pray-leans" or "New Or-leans."

Thanks for the NICE compliments.!
These really were good. I just might have to make some homemade pralines & cream ice cream with a few of the ones my wife didn't give away.

One of my favorites. Never had it homemade.

Tomorrow? What time? Can I bring Pete (my yellow Lab)? Because he really likes IceCream....

And they do look good.

Looks great Nate.

My mother makes wonderful pralines, I've never tried my hand at it.
