it's because after you post you are probably hitting your "back" button on your browser and it's causing a repost.

Vulcan with ease. Vulcans are extremely strong, that's why the neck pinch is so easy for them. Strong enough to take down Khan? I guess it depends on the needs of the story line.

As for Klingons, their strength has varied from series to movies. In the series, Kirk was able to beat them or at least stalemate them in a fistfight and in Star Trek III when he fought to the death with the Klingon commander, he was getting beat up but still holding up pretty well and managed to turn the tables on him whereas in the rare instances when he fought Spock he pretty much just got pounded.

So...Vulcans.

Of course it's Klingons. This is like Athenians vs Spartans.

Even if Vulcans are physically stronger, Klingons spend their whole lives in combat training.

Vulcans.

He was actually holding up againt Khan (recall, Khan dispatched the Klingons with ease).

I also liked the symmetry between the 1st and 2nd movie when Spock had gotten the advantage and was kicking the shite out of his oppenent (at school in 1, after the stuns in 2).

I actually enjoyed the references to the original Wrath of Khan movie and other old Star Trek things like the tribble and Nurse Chapel.

Oh, and by the way, for those of you that don't like the complete conversion of Star Trek to a mindless, action-oriented, soulless shell of TOS, without any of the elements that made TOS, the characters from TOS and the TOS films special, you'll hate it.

I'm seriously, seriously tired of seeing the trailers.

However, I'm pretty sure FF6 and Lone Ranger will be even worse films.

Have you seen into darkness yet?

I really want to see the expert bashing you would give it.

I saw it FWIW and I really enjoyed it. It had a good story and I really love how Kirk's character developed in this one. He really grew into the role of being a captian of a starship and accepted the responsibility that comes with it.

I just wish at the end of the movie when they rechristened enterprise, they went with a bigger ship like the same size of the USS Vengeance instead. Ship was badass and I would've liked to see them go in that.

Pretty safe assumption, especially for Lone Ranger since it has gotten god awful prescreening reviews.

And yeah Ace, I'm expecting you to hate it. It's yet again more Star Wars' homage to Star Trek, but I as a non-Trekkie have no problem with this. I've always been more into SW than ST. I think even you will like the villain, even if you hate the rest of the film. Pretty much equal to the original IMO, and hopefully not yours.

My dad and I are big Trekkies and we both liked it. Plus we both love Cumberbatch because we like Sherlock too.

Not only he did a hell of an acting job, You could understand every word he was saying.

I'm deaf with a cochlear implant and I could hear him perfectly and I could also lipread every word he was saying as well. I appreciated that.

Never thought of that, but he's probably the most clearly innuciated performance I can think of on the top of my head. Really easy to understand how fricked you are when he's talking.

After rewatching, the main thing left that bugs me is how both times they dropped out of warp they were a stone's throw from their destination.

As in if they literally had waited a couple of seconds longer, they would have arrived

That and the script based sleight of hand when Kirk is convincing Khan to help him.
